She was also quoted in the New York Times and US News & World Report.

She recently founded RISE–a company that gives life-saving malaria treatment to a child in need with every item you purchase.

She is also a singer/songwriter and olympic distance triatlete.


Ahmed Minhaj is the Chief Advisor for the American Hijab Design Contest.  He is an accomplished attorney at a top international firm with a deep passion for, and commitment to, human rights–a commitment that inspired him to leave his successful career as a biomedical engineer to become an attorney.
